David has strong manual therapy skills and believes exercise plays an important role in supporting patients throughout their rehabilitation.
Alongside hands-on treatment, David enjoys teaching regular group exercise classes and guiding patients through their workouts, including one-on-one and small group Clinical Pilates and resistance training sessions in the gym.
Outside of work, David leads an active life and spends much of his time keeping up with his two children and dog. His kids often persuade him to ride all kinds of contraptions, usually with wheels or fins, and he does his best to avoid injury in the process. David has a broad sporting background, with surfing and kyokushin Karate among his main passions (although he is now retired from the latter). Having experienced injury and rehabilitation himself, he understands what it is like to receive physiotherapy, which helps him bring empathy and insight to patient care.
