Linda has been Bay Active Physio’s Remedial Massage Therapist for over 10 years. She completed her Bachelor of Health Science (Human structure & Function) at UTS in 2023, and her Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Australasian College of Natural Therapy in 2011 . She was a recipient of the New Colombo Plan Mobility Program (DFAT), which gave her the opportunity to be join the ACICIS’ Public Health Study Tour in Indonesia in November 2022, and enabled her to gain great experience and knowledge in the sector of public health.
She shares her time at the clinic between her role as a massage therapist and digital marketing & admin officer using her skills acquired in her previous careers, spreading the message of holistic care.
Her clinical and wholistic approach working in conjunction with our physios to complement and enhance patients’ treatments. Her extensive experience enables her to work with the broader population (from the teenager to the elderly, or from people who practice sport recreationally to the athlete). Her role is pivotal in the continuation of care of patients dealing with chronic conditions.
She uses firm but gentle remedial skills (in place of more painful deep tissue techniques) to help reduce pain and restore correct function.
