Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Maryanne completed her Bachelor and Masters (Manipulative Physiotherapy) degrees at Sydney University and has worked in private practice for over 25 years in Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide.
The clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills developed during her Masters degree have given her the skills to treat complex musculoskeletal and spinal issues. Her Masters treatise was on the Management of Shoulder Instability, which has provided her with a deep knowledge and understanding in managing shoulder pain and problems.
Maryanne volunteered as a physiotherapist during the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
Maryanne has completed Level 1-4 of the DMA Clinical Pilates Equipment courses and has been involved in teaching Clinical Pilates for over 15 years. She loves this form of treatment as it allows patients to develop an understanding of their problems, take control over their pain and teaches them the power of “movement as medicine.”
